DO YOU SKIP BREAKFAST?


                                                           
Breakfast is often considered an essential part of a healthy diet. Breakfast’, our first meal of the day should be a combination of carbohydrates, protein, and  fibre. It should also include fruits, whole grains, and good fats. Some schools go as far as serving their pupils breakfast in the morning. However, some people cannot tolerate breakfast, while others complain that they do not have time for breakfast, don’t feel hungry or that they are on a diet.
Is it really beneficial or healthy to skip breakfast?

Diabetes mellitus is a situation whereby sugar builds up in the blood stream instead of the cells of the body. It is caused by a deficiency in the secretion of insulin. The human body contains a gland called the pancreas. This gland secrets digestive enzymes and  vital hormones that regulate the amount of sugar in the bloodstream. The most  well known of these hormones is the INSULIN. The food we eat is converted into a form of sugar known as glucose. Insulin in the body allows glucose to leave the blood stream and enter the body cell where it is utilized.

BACK PAIN



                                                        
The back includes the bones of the spine ( vertebrae that support body weight), their joints,  the discs that separate the vertebrae and absorb shock as you move, and the muscles and ligaments that hold it all together.
Back pain occurs when one or more of these structures  is injured. Back pain can also occur when you sprain or strain the ligaments or muscles from a sudden or improper movement or due to overuse. If you damage your discs so that they tear or stretch and the tear is large enough, the disc may press against a nerve, the irritated nerve may swell or become inflamed thereby causing back pain.
