OBESITY.

Obesity is a condition where one ingests  more energy than what one expends. It is also a situation where your body mass index is 30 or more. There is no ideal body weight. There is a preferred  body weight range. It is  called the preferred body weight because if your weight  lies in this range, you are less likely to develop high blood pressure, diabetes and some other illnesses. The body mass index is calculated by dividing your weight in kilograms by your height in meters squared. If  your body mass index lies in the range of between 19-24.9, you  are in the preferred range for health and appearance. But if  your body mass index is between 25-29.9, you are overweight and need to  exercise and change your diet. A  BMI  of 30 or more is known as  obesity.
