INTELLIGENCE CAN BE DESCRIBED AS THE  ABILITY TO PERCEIVE  , RETAIN KNOWLEDGE  OR INFORMATION AND APPLY  IT  TO ONESELF OR OTHER INSTANCES OF KNOWLEDGE. IT IS THE ABILITY TO LEARN OR UNDERSTAND THINGS OR TO DEAL WITH NEW OR DIFFICULT  SITUATIONS.
INTELLIGENCE IS   A PERSON’S  CAPACITY FOR LOGIC, ABSTRACT THOUGHT, UNDERSTANDING, SELF- AWARENESS, COMMUNICATION, LEARNING, EMOTIONAL KNOWLEDGE, MEMORY, PLANNING, CREATIVITY AND PROBLEM SOLVING. IT CAN ALSO BE  DESCRIBED  AS THE CAPACITY FOR LEARNING, REASONING, UNDERSTANDING AND  MENTAL  ACTIVITY. IT IS THE  MANIFESTATION   OF A HIGH  MENTAL CAPACITY, KNOWLEDGE OF AN EVENT, CIRCUMSTANCE, NEWS OR INFORMATION  EITHER RECEIVED OR IMPARTED.
OUR BRAINS NEED EXERCISE JUST LIKE A MUSCLE. IF YOU USE IT OFTEN   AND IN THE  RIGHT WAYS,  YOU WILL BECOME A MORE SKILLED THINKER AND INCREASE YOUR ABILITY TO FOCUS. BUT IF YOU NEVER USE YOUR BRAIN OR ABUSE IT WITH HARMFUL CHEMICALS, YOUR ABILITY TO THINK AND LEARN WILL  DETERIORATE.   HERE ARE FIVE  SIMPLE WAYS WHEREBY YOU CAN  INCREASE YOUR INTELLIGENCE.

#READ CHALLENGING BOOKS-    MANY PEOPLE  LIKE TO READ  SUSPENSE  FICTION STORIES BUT THESE BOOKS ARE NOT  MENTALLY STIMULATING.  IF YOU WANT TO  IMPROVE YOUR THINKING AND  WRITING ABILITY, YOU SHOULD READ BOOKS THAT MAKE  YOU FOCUS. READING A CLASSIC NOVEL CAN   CHANGE  YOUR  VIEW OF THE WORLD  AND WILL MAKE YOU THINK IN A MORE PRECISE WAY AND EVEN IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE. DON’T BE AFRAID  TO LOOK UP A WORD  YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND AS WELL AS DENSE PASSAGES. TAKE YOUR TIME, RE-READ WHEN NECESSARY AND YOU WILL SOON GROW ACCUSTOMED TO THE AUTHOR’S STYLE.

IF YOU STAY UP LATE AND COMPENSATE BY SLEEPING,  YOU WILL WAKE UP LETHARGIC AND HAVE TROUBLE  FOCUSING . FROM EXPERIENCE,  THE EARLY MORNING SLEEP IS MORE TRANQUIL   AND  PRODUCTIVE. WAKING UP EARLY  GIVES YOU MORE  PRODUCTIVE HOURS AND MAXIMIZES YOUR  MENTAL  ABILITY  ALL DAY.

#TAKE TIME TO REFLECT-   LIFE MAY GET SO HECTIC THAT WE BECOME OVERWELMED WITHOUT EVEN REALISING IT. IT BECOMES  DIFFICULT TO CONCENTRATE  BECAUSE NAGGING THOUGHTS KEEP  INTERRUPTING. #EXERCISE -  TIME SPENT EXERCISING ALWAYS LEADS TO GREATER LEARNING BECAUSE IT IMPROVES PRODUCTIVITY DURING THE TIME AFTERWARDS. EXERCISE CLEARS YOUR HEAD AND CREATES A WAVE OF ENERGY. AFTERWARDS, YOU FEEL INVIGORATED AND CAN CONCENTRATE MORE MORE EASILY.
# - REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU SPEND IN FRONT OF THE TELEVISION. -  PEOPLE  LOVE VEGETATING IN FRONT OF THE TELEVISION. THE PROBLEM IS , WATCHING TELEVISION DOESN’T  USE YOUR MENTAL CAPACITY OR ALLOW IT TO RECHARGE. IT IS LIKE HAVING THE ENERGY SAPPED OUT OF A MUSCLE WITHOUT THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF EXERCISE.
